Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Chad Everett

Lead Pastor

Jesus is the King of the Rural Area!

Pastor Chad Everett is a man who humbly knows that without Jesus – he is nothing, but with Jesus, he can do all things – including answering the call to say what God says – to be the messenger of light, hope, truth and love in a world looking for something more, something different than the hopeless, despairing and wavering message of the world. All for God’s glory. All to make Jesus famous.

Believing that God’s Word is our reality, and living a life of abiding in and relying on constant communication and obedience as Holy Spirit leads, directs, corrects and encourages – he speaks plainly and transparently with the vision, passion, and desire to help others “Discover Jesus, Freedom, Purpose & Fulfillment.”

Pastor Chad is greatly loved by the people at The Roads Church in Norris City, IL, where God is invited to do the impossible through the people attending and serving both in the house and in the 20-county area (with an estimated 300,000 unchurched people), The Roads is impacting – Southern IL, Indiana and Kentucky and making Jesus the King of the Rural Area.

Pastor Dawn Everett

And of course – “Behind every good man…

…is a good woman!”  In Pastor Chad’s life – it’s Pastor Dawn Everett – an amazing, beautiful, fun and talented woman of God who loves and supports her man – partnering in every facet of their ministry at The Roads and raising their five children.  It isn’t uncommon to see Dawn with the biggest, most genuine, welcoming smile in the world – greeting people on a Sunday morning – like they were her life-long friend – all while she’s on the great round-up of their five children.

The biblical principle of “training your children in the way they should go” is evident in the lives of Hope, Halle, Hollan, Hinsley, and Lucas. Chad and Dawn have and continue to intentionally raise their children in the light of God’s Word, and whether it is shown through their kindness, their willingness to serve others, their team spirit, pursuit of excellence and leadership serving in church or in one of the many sports they participate in – these kids are a blessing to The Roads and the community!
